Life Book: True Intentions

Life Book Week 2 done already.... I'm just buzzing along!

 Monica Zuniga's lesson in which we 'set our True Intentions' for the year.

We were to create a 'doll' with stamped images and words that would inspire us through the year.

 I grabbed a few words from this article:

Added and removed from the list as they inspired me. Font-ified them on my computer and printed the list to snip up and add to the Doll.

Life Book: Celebration & Journey

On with the Main Project for Week 1 of Life Book...

Creating a fun page celebrating the journey ahead of us. 

Was a slow start it took me 3 days work to git'er all done but here it is:

Decided my mode of transportation needed to be a healthy one, in keeping with one of the goals set, so I'm riding a Penny Farthing... in Steampunk garb (of course!). The photo I used was from the 2012 Ottawa ComicCon where I had been in Steampunk garb, made for an easy change-over.

Tweaked the lesson a bit:

Decided the add the 2013 road, which is cobblestone, and the 2014 & Beyond. I want these goals to continue and continue... they are not 'get there and we're done' kinda goals for the most part.

Supplies: 3 kinds of watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, Gelly Roll white pen, and various black Gels.

Life Book 2013: My Fairy Art Mother

The New Year has started... so has Life Book 2013!!!

Yippeee!!!

*straggling in late as always...* 

The 'warm-up' exercise was to start playing with some of the newer supplies we may have never used before and create our Fairy Art Mother. The watercolor crayons are all new to me and honestly, not sure if I like them much. Our Fairy Art Mother (or Father) will be watching over us as we work, reminding us we to be Kind to Ourselves and our Art through this year's process.

She's done! 

My Fairy Art Mother wanted to remind me:
Just Be... with multi chronic health issues including ADHD, 4 boyz, 3 fur-kids and the resultant chaotic schedule that my Art-ing time is for ME and when I'm there to BE there, not the 60 million other places.
I'm MUSE Rich: That though we are poor of pocket I am rich in Creativity... if we can't get the best-est sh-tuff I *always* find a way to use what I got to create.
I love her... she is now above the wee work space I have left (we're mid move) watching over me with kind eyes.
