TagTuesday - Flower Pot!

Today the challenge is to make a tag with a Flower Pot as the focus - now don't panic!
You can draw one, or draw and cut one out to make it out of something else and when you have your FlowerPot - put whatever you would like into the pot -
flowers, loaves of bread, fish, lightbulbs, think outside the pot...er, box!

Tag Tuesday - Have a Heart

Today's tag requires a heart.
You can draw it, add a 3-D one, stamp it, or anything else.
Please make sure the heart is the focal point!

The hearts were drawn freehand, colored then stamped over with the cage.

Tag Tuesday - Letter A

Your tag this week should feature the letter A, and an image of something beginning with A.

I know we all think of apple, but try to have an image of something else instead of apple!

Let's see how many different ideas we can have for A!

A for Arthur!
I used some pictures from a recent photo shoot we did for a Design Team project. I had loooots of pictures to choose from so I made a nice little grouping to add to the tag.
The 'A' was cut with my SLICE.
I used Red and Blue because they are his favorite colors.
The Orange is 'his' color: Each of my 4 boys has a color for their plates (Thank-You IKEA!) and also used to mark other thing that are theirs around the house (storage bins, books, water bottles etc...)
Gems are Icons from My Big Ideas.

Tag Tuesday - Arbor Day

This week we celebrate Arbor Day!
National Arbor Day (USA) is the tree planter's holiday, and has been celebrated since 1872. It began in Nebraska, a state with a largely treeless plain back in the 1800's. It's always the last Friday of April, a day to plant and dedicate a tree to help nature and the environment. Millions of trees will be planted Friday, April 29, 2011.
Please make a TREE the focus of your tag.

Tag Tuesday - The Chair

This week's challenge is to use a something we see everyday - the humble chair! Please make a chair the focal point of your tag. Someone could be sitting in it, but it must be the focal point and not the person (or thing) sitting in it.

Good Challenge!
I *knew* I had a chair stamp somewhere... I had to dig, but I found it!
Not even inked.
This was a set got because I liked another stamp in the set.
I cut the Tag with a dull blade and sanded it to get a real 'shabby couch' feel.
I thought the pattern on the paper looked very upholstery Fabric-y.
Stamp, Ink and Markers are all Stampin' Up!
Pattern Paper is K&Company.
Flower Eyelet, Trim and Fiber are stash sh-tuff.

Tag Tuesday over at it's *new* home at Blog Challenge Garden this week is
'Vintage Sewing".

I used a digital image from the Digital Two for Tuesday Blog that seemed poi-fect.
Colored with Stampin' Up! Markers.
Covered a standard Manila Shipping Tag with Vintage Ribbon (trimmed excess it was a bit wider than the tag), added a few Ribbon Laced Buttons ans some Yellow Rick Rack.
Finishing with more of the Green Ribbon.
Very 1960-70's Vintage-ish.
