Design Team Project -Scrap Our Stash- Sketch with Stash Challenge #1

It's that time again... a NEW Challenge is up at:
Scrap Our Stash
http://scrapourstash.blogspot.ca
The very 1st Sketch with Stash Challenge!
For this one we had to use the sketch provided AND mixed alphabets for titling.
**************
My layout is of our (now annual) trip to the place we had our year-and-a-day-before-the-wedding Celtic Betrothal Handfasting ceremony. On our Wedding Anniversary we go to the same stone we stood on for the swearing that day and we bring a stone from our garden to leave behind. September 25th 2012 was our 2nd Anniversary and we took these pictures on our visit that day.
We are moving in less than 3 weeks (YEAH!) so almost everything is now packed including ALL my letter stickers so I used some Word Rub-Ons that were still hanging around and an acetate title overlay for my mixed alphas.
Papers are from the CTMH 'Key to my Heart' page set.
Flowers are Prima.
Small Flower has some $1 store pearls in the center.
Washi Tape, Ribbon, Gems, Acetate and Rub-Ons are unknown to me stash sh-tuff.
 **************************
So POP on over the Scrap Our Stash to join the challenge and chance to WIN!
 http://scrapourstash.blogspot.ca/
The Challenge:
1. Create a NEWLY created layout using this sketch:
2. And because we are all about digging into our stash....
You will need to dig into your alpha stickers, thickers, etc. and create a mixed alpha title or journal.

Life Book: Celebration & Journey

On with the Main Project for Week 1 of Life Book...
Creating a fun page celebrating the journey ahead of us.
Was a slow start it took me 3 days work to git'er all done but here it is:

9" X 12"

Decided my mode of transportation needed to be a healthy one, in keeping with one of the goals set, so I'm riding a Penny Farthing... in Steampunk garb (of course!). The photo I used was from the 2012 Ottawa ComicCon where I had been in Steampunk garb, made for an easy change-over.
Tweaked the lesson a bit:
Decided the add the 2013 road, which is cobblestone, and the 2014 & Beyond. I want these goals to continue and continue... they are not 'get there and we're done' kinda goals for the most part.
Supplies: 3 kinds of watercolor pencils, watercolor crayons, Gelly Roll white pen, and various black Gels.

Goals in the Flowers:
Spiritual Study
Healthier Body
Art for Me
New Home

Blessings in the Clouds:
My ever pushy Muse
Husband that truly loves me and a solid family
Lessons learned from the past that fuel my future
Super Fantastic Friends ...each and every one of them
Life that continues to improve more with each passing year

Angels in My Studio: Random Angel...

We're hosting Angels here until Friday night...
Don't want to get into how that's going just yet, feel the need to hold this wonderful experience close... for now. But needless to say Angels have been around... lol.
Yesterday I actually took a few hours to BE: crash my broken body on a couch, veg, watch tv and just doodle. Started a new mini-Journal (3 1/2" X 5 1/2") to carry me through the move. Last night I just sat there with pens, pencil and pencil crayons and doodled...
She was one of the things that appeared.
Pencil sketched then colored in with pencil crayons.

New Pocket Journal and Travelling System.

With the move looming in the distance there hasn't been as much Art-y time but my Muse is still a pushy wench... found myself doodling on scraps of paper, folding up napkins and the like... so after a Muse-led push to head out today found a solution. Got a 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" blank page journal (for $1.25!!!!) at the dollar store. It's just so durn pretty too! Color splashed and foil stamped...

What really wow-ed me was the 'pouch' and pencil case.
Have been doodling 4 leaf clovers, lots of green, zentangles and angels wings all over...
Today we found THEM *all* at Zellers...
Got a 15" laptop case to carry my book(s) and writing sh-tuff from place to place and a pencil case for the loose bits. They had a binder too I was in deep lust over but don't *need* and we're save-for-the-move budgeting. Maybe if they have some in the after-sales I'll know it was meant to be.  ;O)
Super pleased with the lap-top case! Even my biggest/heaviest Art Journals fits in with room to spare since it was designed to carry much-much heavier!

Made the entry title page last night while vegging on the couch to Full Metal Alchemist.
Just doodling away... no plans just the comforting feel of a writing implement in my hand...
