Winter by Gemiel is our 6th Page to be "pagerized" in our "Pagerizie This" Challenge. Gemiel was chosen by Sarah as the winner of the Pagerize This Challenge #5.
Each month on the 15th we will post a new layout for you to "pagerize" (plagerize, copy, lift, steal) whatever term you want to use. The idea will be - to use the posted layout as your inspiration to create your own layout. You can "pagerize" as much or as little of the original layout as you choose. I'm glad I finally found a few minutes to pull this together.
Being in Canada I have lots & lots & lots (did I mention lots?) of winter pictures...
most of which are sitting in my laptop unscrapped since winter is my least favorite season.
I was inspired by the color in Gemiel's LO and dug out and unopened Fancy Pants Kit: Happy Together, I'd been hoarding. It has similar colors and um... was not doing anybody any good gathering dust. All papers and Rub-Ons are from the Kit.
Snowflake Brads are Martha Stewart.
WOOF Chipboard Title was the last piece of Dog Kit I used up yeeeears ago.
Lace is from my auction lot of Vintage Lace.

Hey, I put some new shoes on,

I Glimmer Misted the blue Cardstock with Green & Dark Blue.
Then stamped Celtic Knotwork (Stampin' Up!) here & there in Gold.
I only inked the stamps sporadically, I wanted a faded 'gold leaf' look.
I also rubbed Gold ink behind the LUCKY Lace Cut Out Title.
Dragonfly Brads and Gold photo corners are unknown.
Gold mini-brads are Stampin' Up!
Girl in title is Thickers.
All other elements (stickers, journal block etc...) are Little Yellow Bicycle: Lucky Me.

I was moved to tears by this poem... and I knew which pictures I wanted to put with it.
These are 2 of the very, very few picture I have of my Grandparent with Arthur we lost most of them in a complete computer crash. I've been waiting for the *right* reason to put them to paper. This Poem is perfect... I did not cut the poem I included it in it's entirety.

I decided to scrap a picture I had in my Laptop from making a HUGE Family Album for Greg's Grandmother's 93rd Birthday. I had the true pleasure of combing through gorgeous old family photographs: selecting & then scanning them.

I have several other projects on the go that needed Cogs punched out leaving me with ALL sort of pretty little metallic circles...

Thank-God for this weeks challenge!
I inked a Manila Tag in Teal then glued the scrap circles to it.

I love blackbirds in art and I find myself needing to give them an airing every once in a while.

Blackbird was provided for another site's challenge, now part of my stash (unknown origins).
All mounted on Cereal Box Board and inked, inked, inked! (Stampin'Up!)
Fine Line Sharpie used for outlining.
