Elements: Air- Beltane Page & 29 Faces

Today 29 Faces begins...
It is also Beltane so I had planned to do a page in my Elements Journal...
Your-Fer, Go Fer A Two-Fer!

Here she is all done...
The Maiden of Flowers

Saw this Icon floating around the internetz, thought the fleurs in hair look was awesome.
My Journal page is completely inspired from this:

I also popped on some YouTube Tune-age while working...
This is what I listening to today:

Started  with a pencil sketch...
Stamped a variety of Bugs and Flowers (all Stampin'Up!) in with StazOn...
Outlined the face/hair and defined the stamped images...
Then colored it all with Stampin'Up! Markers.
The added the Journaling...

The following is from Caitlin Matthews book "Celtic "Devotional"

Maiden of flowers, open the door,
Smith of souls, come you in.
Let there be welcome to the growing strength,
Let there be welcome to to the Summer of the Year.
In bud and blossom you are traveling,
In fruit and fragrance you will arrive.
May the blessed time of Beltane,
Inflame the soul of all beings.
Bringing energy and effort to conflagration.
From the depths to the heights,
From the heights to the depths,
In the core of every soul.
