Another perfect challenge topic... I went all literal with the 'LEAP'.
The pictures used on this layout were taken over the (Canadian) Thanksgiving Weekend at a local Trail called Lime Kiln. Along the trail are ruins of the original kiln, powder storage and the quarry that they gathered the lime from to make into bricks. There is a great spot over what was the entrance to the powder storage that my 4 boys like to jump over... My husband Greg lay on the ground taking thier pictures as the jumped over. All the pictures on this layout are of my youngest, Thomas.
Background paper is from a 'stack' aquired long ago... can't recall the maker. Blue with brown flecks, I edged it all in black ink.
Scalloped Circle is from Making Memories, also inked on the edges.
The photos are all inked on the edges and around the rims with black ink.
Little pearls placed all around the edge of the scallop are from the $ store. When I took the main picture one had 'run away from home', it's been returned to the page now. Bad pearl!
The 'Head in the Clouds' and 'Leap of Faith' chipboard embellishments are from Colorbok, mounted on black cardstock. The computer printed quote is also mounted on black cardstock.
Glass gems (inside the flower cut outs) are snaps from the $ store.
